The Cooperative
The La Verità farming co-operative was set up by the five founder members on 27th October 1946 in San Felice del Benaco, in the heart of Valtenesi. This successful co-operative now has over 280 members and boasts close links with the local area and inhabitants.The technological innovations in the mill, the continuous attention to the quality of the olives, the times and methods of harvesting, to the pressing in short times and to the analyses carried out immediately on each single batch of oil obtained, this makes a superior quality product.
OUR EXTRA VIRGIN OIVE OIL
Superior-quality extra-virgin olive oil has a number of health benefi ts as it contains few saturated fatty acids, the ideal balance of mono-unsaturated and poly-unsaturated fatty acids and it is high in antioxidants, vitamin E and squalene, which acts as a protection against the harmful effects of the sun’s rays. For all these reasons it is undo ubtedly the chef ’s best ingredient.
